Concord Hospital Health System Announces Promotions of Physician Leaders

The physicians will assume key roles with Concord Hospital Medical Group.

Concord Hospital health system is pleased to announce the promotions of Drs. Christopher Fore, MHCDS, Nicholas Larochelle, Robert Thomson, and Christina Loporcaro. These accomplished physicians will advance into strategic roles with Concord Hospital Medical Group.

Dr. Fore, in his role as chief quality officer, has advanced into a strategic position leading quality, safety, and engagement performance for Concord Hospital health system (CHHS). He joined the organization in 2001 and has managed a large portfolio of system-wide operational accountabilities within Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG) and the acute medical value stream. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Fore received his medical degree from Dartmouth College located in Hanover, N.H., and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dr. Nicholas Larochelle has been elevated to associate chief clinical officer for CHMG’s acute inpatient medical value stream. He joined the health system in 2015 and is board-certified in emergency medicine. Dr. Larochelle obtained his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vt., and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dr. Robert Thomson was promoted to associate chief clinical officer of medical subspecialty services within CHMG. He joined the health system in 2000 and is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dr. Thomson earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College of Rush University, based in Chicago, Ill., and completed his residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

Dr. Christina Loporcaro has advanced to the role of emergency department medical director for CHMG and will rotate her time across the health system. She joined the organization in 2019 and previously served as associate medical director of emergency medicine. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Loporcaro received her medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., and completed her residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass.
